Snakes live in grass,in forest,in deserts,near water,in seas or oceans,under rocks or under bushes.Snakes live in warm places and they cool off in the shade.Snakes snuggle when cold. Snakes can climb trees and some snakes can crawl on land and swim in water. On cool days,snakes rest in the sun to warm up. All sankes have dry,scaly skin.The skin keeps the snakes from drying out in the heat of the desert. Many water snakes hunt at nigth and rest during the day. Snakes that live in seas or oceans are called sea snakes.
